Pop-Up Tasting: Wines that Sparkle!

December 15, 2017, 4:30pm- 6:30pm

Champagne might be the most famous sparkling wine region in France, however, the first sparkling wines were produced in Limoux. In 1531, one century before Dom Pérignon, the wines from Limoux stepped onto the world stage thanks to Benedictine nuns from the St Hilaire Abbey, a neighboring village, who created the first sparkling wine in the world: La Blanquette de Limoux. Take a trip through time with us tonight, sip some Cremant from Limoux, and just let your worries flee from your mind.
