2013 Jorche Primitivo di Manduria

This noble, structured and balanced wine of Salento is the essence of Antica Masseria Jorche, capturing the centuries-old essence of the land’s wine culture. The vines from which this wine is produced are no less than 40 years old, and the wine is made to mature for at least 12 months in both barriques and “capasuni” (unique ceramic vats) before the final 3 months in the bottle. It has an intense ruby-red color with garnet tints, and an ethereal, oaky, spicy bouquet. The flavor is robust, harmonious and tannic – recommended to pair with rich meat main courses, however it is also excellent with any structured or flavorsome dish.
