Le Marche and Abruzzo are normally known for both their fertile farmland (which produce some of Italy's best wheat for pastas) and their beautiful sunbaked Adriatic beaches. The Bianchi-Bernetti family of Umani Ronchi has been making stunning estate wines for generations, and we cannot wait to show them off to you!

Today Villa Bianchi aims to express all the typical features of Verdicchio by bringing out in particular its aromatic notes of freshness and elegance. Brilliant straw yellow color with greenish tints. Intense fruit-forward and floral aromatics. 2016 Umani Ronchi “Jorio” Montepulciano d’Abruzzo
Abruzzo, Italy
Jorio is a “cru” wine of Umani Ronchi, and is an example of the maximum potential of the Montepulciano species of grapevine. The vineyard is situated on one of the highest hills in the municipality, typified by low yields due to a dramatic reduction in the amount of fertilizer used. After fermentation for 12 days, the wine is then aged in large oak barrels for eleven months. It is a brilliant ruby color and has a typical aroma of ripe plumbs and licorice and is mellow, rich, fragrant and well-structured.
“Shows real purity of fruit with blueberries, citrus, crushed stones, iodine and Thai basil. Medium to full body, lithe and medium chewy tannins and a fresh, structured finish. (JS)”

Regular Price: $24.99 per bottle, $299.88 per case
Sale Price: $18.99 per bottle, $227.88 per case

2016 Umani Ronchi “San Lorenzo” Rosso Conero
Le Marche, Italy
This red wine, produced in the heart of the Marche, is distinguished by a deep ruby color, a full, long-lasting bouquet that is reminiscent of wood, and a dry, balanced mouthfeel. 18 months in oak barrels assures that the full potential of the Montepulciano species of grapevine is realized in San Lorenzo, which has a wonderful impact on the flavor, providing warm, round tannins.
