Founded in 2000, Aquitaine Wine Company specializes in Bordeaux wines, and has formed partnerships with over 100 family-owned estates. A sixth generational négociant from Bordeaux, husband and wife team of Jean-Christophe Calvet and Margaret Calvet visited 2500 estates over five years to assemble a portfolio of unbelievable values in discovery wines and classified growths. 2017 Calvet Crémant de Bordeaux Brut
Bordeaux, France
Beautiful golden yellow with fine bubbles. Expressive notes of yellow fruit and brioche. Fresh and balanced palate. 70% Semillon, 30% Cabernet Franc. Calvet is one of the oldest French wine brands in the world, founded in 1818 by Jean-Marie Calvet. Along with his son, Octave, Jean-Marie built warehouses in Bordeaux and opened an office in 1849, then expanded to Burgundy in 1870 to become the largest wine company in France in the 19th and most of the 20th century. Calvet was sold in 1882 but sixth generation négociant and direct descendent Jean-Christophe Calvet is now re-introducing the brand back to the U.S. markets.

2019 Château la Freynelle Bordeaux Blanc

For seven generations, vines were handed down from father to son until 1992, Veronique Barthe, the first daughter born since the French Revolution, inherited the legacy. Her vineyards cover 75 Hectares located in the heart of Entre-Deux-Mers planted on limestone-clay hilltops. With an average age of 25 years, the vineyards produce high quality grapes, both red and white. Brilliant straw color. Lovely fruit nose of white peaches, citrus and beeswax. Elegant, charming palate with good fruit flavors and buttery finish. 60% Sauvignon Blanc, 30% Semillon, 10% Muscadelle

2016 Château de Ridebon Bordeaux Superieur

From an estate that once served as a hunting lodge for Louis XVI in the center of Entre-Deux-Mers comes this complex and sophisticated wine. Ruby in color with ripe fruit and concentrated tannins, this wine is full-bodied, rich, and elegantly balanced start to finish. A true expression of both the terroir and the quality of grapes. 70% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Cabernet Franc.

2014 Château Francs Magnvs Cuvée Charles 1er

Medium-deep and ruby in color with a delicate nose of fresh black plums, black cherries, and hints of violets. Round on the palate with appealing, fine chalky tannins. A very lovely and fresh finish. 95% Merlot, 5% Cabernet Franc.

2015 Château Fontesteau Haut-Médoc
Bordeaux, France
Deep garnet color with a nose that offers red fruit, licorice and toasty notes. Volume and structure are at the forefront of the fleshy and dense palate. Full of finesse. The finish boasts tasty tannins that bring length and elegance. Expressive, fruity and delicate. 53% Cabernet Sauvignon, 45% Merlot, 2% Cabernet Franc.
