2003 Strauss Welschriesling
Steiermark, Austria
Let us say this in plain language: this is one of the best white wine values. To get this level of refinement in this price echelon is amazing. This Welschriesling has a bright, sagey and forest flower nose, the palate is fresh, pure and filled with satisfyingly slightly spicy fruit. This is a great party wine and it would love any spicy dish you might want to pair it with.
$8.99 per bottle ($107.88 per case)

2003 Anton Bauer “Gmörk” Grüner Veltliner
Donauland, Austria

This is a classic example of the Grüner Veltliner grape from Austria-Aromas of Granny Smith apples with crisp acidity, and a clean citrus flavor that lingers on the finish. Ideal as an aperitif, this wine also pairs well with fresh vegetables, salads, fish dishes and chicken. It’s also the perfect picnic wine.
$9.99 per bottle ($119.88 per case)

2003 Strauss Sauvignon Blanc Classic
Steiermark, Austria

A classic style with full ripe citrus fruit, lemon drop and delicate herbal notes followed by a clean crisp finish. Perfect warm weather aperitif, and pairs well with chicken, mild cheeses, sautéed seafood and white sauces. Fans of Loire Valley Sauvignon Blancs will enjoy this wine!
$12.99 per bottle ($155.88 per case)

2003 Hillenger Zwiegelt
Burgenland, Austria

Zwiegelt is a traditional Austrian red grape variety. This is a very elegant and harmonious wine filled with ripe black cherry and subtle mocha notes. The palate features ripe, deep fruit with a gentle, smooth medium-bodied mouthfeel. The finish is long and has slightly spicy, peppery nuances. Austrian reds feature amazingly pure fruit flavors.
$14.99 per bottle ($179.88 per case)

2002 Anton Bauer “Wagram” Cuvée No. 8
Donauland, Austria

This is the 8th year we have made this beautiful blend of Cab and Merlot with two native Austrian grapes, Zweigelt and Blaufränkisch. This wine is aged for 15 months in mostly used small French barriques, giving it body and a wonderful soft finish. It has a complex nose of violets; followed on the palate by plum, black cherry, blueberry and currant flavors. The finish is exceptionally pleasing and smooth.
$15.99 per bottle ($191.88 per case)
