You might know P.A. Bowen Farmstead from the Anne Arundel County Farmer's Market on Riva Road for their award winning raw milk cheeses and gmo-free meats. They are a small multi-species farm that uses their animals to work and improve the land by harnessing the unique talents of each: the heritage-breed pigs (Berkshire, Tamworth & Spotted) clear wooded areas of the farm to create pasture for the dairy cows (Jerseys); the cows are rotationally-grazed each day and provide beautiful milk to make award-winning artisan cheeses; and chickens come behind to clean up after everyone! We look forward to seeing you!

Francoise Le Calvez, Winemaker/Owner Chateau Coupe Roses Estate, Minervois, Languedoc, France
Françoise Le Calvez and her husband Pascal Frissant work Château Coupe Roses with passion and acumen high in the Mediterranean hinterlands. Their vineyards are in Le Causse and Le Petit Causse (a causse refers to an enormous outcropping of exposed rock— in this case, limestone). These two areas make up the highest growing zones in the Minervois appellation. The wines from Coupe Roses have excellent acidity and freshness, which Françoise adores, without any plodding, overripe character, which she really doesn’t adore.
Xavier Weisskiopf, Winemaker/Owner Le Rocher des Violettes, Montlouis, Loire Valley, France
Xavier Weisskopf is one of the new generation of young producers buying well established old vineyards in the Loire Valley. Xavier’s deft touch in the winery is transforming this old-vine material into wines of freshness, vivacity and not least, great value!
