Patrick is flying over the Atlantic again, to attend one of the most prestigious and expected wine events… the 2003 Bordeaux “primeurs” tasting.
Once a year and during three days only, all the wine buyers and journalists of the world converge to the city of Bordeaux in order to attend the Union des Grands Crus de Bordeaux futures tastings.
Prestigious Chateaux and classified growths open their doors in the Medoc, Saint-Emilion, Pessac and Sauternes areas to present barrel samples of their famous Crus. This experience will be a unique opportunity for Patrick to discover the quality of this amazing and out of ordinary 2003 vintage in the Bordelais. From North to South of the Gironde, Patrick will taste hundreds of 2003 samples, he will be introduced to cellar masters and producers, and he will attend private meetings and tastings at Chateaux CHEVAL-BLANC, EGLISE-CLINET, LAGRANGE, SMITH HAUT LAFITTE, etc.
This very intense and unbelievable tour is just the beginning. Wine Cellars of Annapolis will introduce you to our new policies and coming offers for selected 2003 futures, as well as older vintages and special contents.
