2015 Camina Verdejo, La Mancha, Spain. This 100% Verdejo from La Mancha shows fresh and fruity, a classic style of the varietal. Offering aromas of stone fruit, with hints of almonds and citrus rind. Crisp and fresh on the palate, with subtle apricot fruit that evolves into a long, clean finish. 

2016 Lago Cerqueira Rose, Vinho Verde DOC, Portugal. This is a very fruity wine enhanced by notes of raspberries and strawberries. Well balanced with nice acidity which characterizes this wine with great freshness, a solid structure and a soft finish.

NV Pierre Larousse Blanc de Blanc, France, Made from 100% Chardonnay grapes.  This French sparkling is ideal for everyday drinking or parties. This inexpensive sparkling has a fresh, delicate mousse that is full of creamy flavors that are well balanced with zesty acidity on the finish.

2015 Réserve de la Saurine Gard Blanc Languedoc-Roussillon, France. This wine displays a beautiful pale yellow robe with green reflections. The aromatic expression is very charming with floral notes, pepper and mineral tones bringing freshness. The palate expresses good acidity and weight with elements of citrus fruit and coats the mouth with a very elegant finish.

2016 Lago Cerqueira Vinho Verde, Vinho Verde DOC, Portugal. From the extensive vineyards of the Vinho Verde region, this “effervescent” white wine is perfect for any occasion. Flavors and aromas of citrus, apples, pears and fine minerality are displayed alongside refreshing acidity that keeps you coming back for more.

2015 M. Chapoutier Marius Rouge, Languedoc-Roussillon, France. “Another through the roof value is the 2015 IGP Pays d’Oc Marius Grenache Syrah, with is a 60/40 mix of Syrah and Grenache that was brought up all in concrete tank, with no influence of oak whatsoever. This medium-bodied effort has tons of raspberry, pepper herbs, rose petal and earth in a shockingly elegant, layered, pretty style.

2014 Wine Cellars of Annapolis Red Wine, Languedoc, France. This blend of 40% Merlot, 35% Syrah, and 25% Grenache leads with beautiful aromas. An exuberant, explosive bouquet of dark cherries, strawberries and black fruits is followed by a round, sexy, fresh, lively, nuanced, medium-bodied palate with no hard edges.

2013 Pietra Majella Montepulciano D’Abruzzo, Tuscany, Italy Dry, soft and smooth this wine exemplifies what makes Italian wines great while still showing a plush easy going wine that you could sit around and sip any night of the week.  Perfect for any occasion.

2013 Reserve de la Saurine Rouge Gard, France This classic blend of 60%Grenache Noir, 40% Carignan leads with bright notes of cherry and raspberry with a rich undercurrent of spice and pepper. The palate reveals a juicy, seductive and warming wine with delicate tannins, ripe fruit flavors and a wonderful savory finish.

2015 Bouchard Ainé & Fils Pinot Noir Heritage du Conseiller, Burgundy, France. Gorgeous nose redolent of flowers, cherries, and coffee with subtly integrated toasted oak notes. The palate showcases flavors of vibrant red berries that come together with floral and mineral highlights. Flavors of chocolate underscored by a hint of menthol. Beautiful finesse, excellent length, and silky tannins.

2014 Castillo de Monseran Garnacha Spain Easy drinking, fruit forward wine. Herbal overtones, bursting ripe berry and plum fruit. Soft and round on the palate, this wine has limited extraction and tannin to enhance youthful consumption. Lingering red fruit flavors.

2015 Penya Cotes Catalanes Rouge, Languedoc-Roussillon, France. “The vibrant purple-colored 2015 IGP Cotes Catalanes was bottled in January and raised all in concrete tanks. Made from 52% Grenache, 36% Carignan and 12% Syrah, it offers jammy, forward notes of blackberries, raspberries and flowers in a medium-bodied, nicely balanced, fruity personality. It’s a terrific value and geared for near-term drinking.”
