Burgundy's Exceptional 2015 Vintage

Burgundy, France

Burgundy remains one of the most fascinating and alluring regions in the world. Over the centuries, Burgundy has become known for being the best land in the world for producing both Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, and it is for this reason that Burgundy wines have received such acclaim! This month we are featuring a selection of wines from Burgundy's exceptional 2015 vintage that best showcase the mastery work of this prestigious region.

2015 Vincent Girardin Bourgogne Blanc "Cuvée St. Vincent"
Burgundy, France
The grapes for this wine come from parcels located in the regional area production of Meursault and Chassagne-Montrachet! The winery wants to enhance the freshness and elegance of a typical Chardonnay from Burgundy. A floral and fruity wine (citrus, peach) combines with mineral notes and a beautiful length. A good pairing wine for plenty of dishes.

2015 Thibault Liger Belair Cuvée Bourgogne les Deux Terres
Burgundy, France
The Cuvée Bourgogne les Deux Terres (the two lands) come from the marriage between the crus du Beaujolais and the Bourgogne from Côte d’Or. The 2015 Bourgogne les Deux Terres offers a deeper ruby/purple color as well as old world notes of black cherries, saddle leather, smoked herbs and earth. Medium-bodied, supple, and textured, drink this blend of Pinot Noir and Gamay over the coming 3-5 years.
Regular Price $29.99 per bottle, $359.88 per case
Sale Price $19.99 per bottle, $239.88 per case

2015 Alain Gras Saint-Romain Rouge
Burgundy, France
This beautiful hand-harvested red has an expressive nose with aromas of red fruit and cherries, with only a discrete touch of oak. The palate shows supple tannins, with good fruit and freshness, and an elegant finish. Sustainable. “Crunchy wild berry fruit and spicy coniferous floor mingle in a sapid bouquet, followed on the palate by a supple, stony character strongly marked by the rocky soils of St-Romain. A mere 12.3% alcohol, so supremely refreshing.” 90 Points, Decanter
Regular Price $49.99 per bottle, $599.88 per case
